Planning Student Success: Aligning Curriculum Practices with FL Fine Arts Seal Achievement in Mind
led by: Erin Saladino
Hear ye, hear ye: The FL Fine Arts Seal is here! What an exciting time to be a high school fine arts student…and teacher! As visual art teachers analyze Seal criteria, reflection on current practices is essential: Does my curriculum ensure the success skills my students need to feel confident in Seal goal-setting?
In this workshop, visual art teachers will recognize the benefits of Seal participation, connect Seal criteria and standards-aligned success skills, and use provided resources to reflect and refine their curriculum with student Seal achievement in mind. Please note, this session will not focus on the nuances of Seal documentation processes, but more on how Seal criteria can successfully look within the high school art room.
While all are welcome, the resources and approaches for this session are with the secondary visual arts teacher in mind.
