The Importance of Sketchbook and Visual Journaling in the Studio Art Room
led by: Jackelyn Adkins
A sketchbook or creative journal contains both written and visual material. It may include assignments or self-directed investigations. A sketchbook or journal provides a place to think through the making/planning process; researching, brainstorming, experimenting, testing, analyzing and refining work. It offers a place to document the journey towards a final solution, providing a depth and backstory to the accompanying work.
