Dr. Christopher Burns, Fine and Performing Arts Resource Specialist, Osceola County Schools
Dr. Christopher Burns is a dedicated arts education leader committed to expanding access to high-quality arts programs and integrating innovative practices into the classroom. As one of the Fine and Performing Arts Resource Specialist for Osceola County Schools, he supports K-12 arts educators in fostering student-centered learning and ensuring that the arts remain a vital part of every child's education.
With a Ph.D. in Music Education from the University of South Florida, Dr. Burns has extensive experience in band, musical theatre, and elementary arts education. He has been at the forefront of key initiatives that recognize and elevate arts education, helping to shape policies that provide students with meaningful pathways to celebrate their artistic achievements. His passion for technology in education also drives his work in exploring new ways to inspire creativity and engagement in the arts classroom.
An advocate for arts integration and innovation, Dr. Burns continues to lead conversations on the evolving role of arts education in today’s schools, equipping educators with the tools and strategies to empower the next generation of artists and creative thinkers.
